nice presentation and sexy idea, but it makes me think:

  • Who has done this before? 
  • Who would have access to the produce?  
  • How would the building/business impact the area that it exists in? 
  • How resource intensive is it? (planning, building, operating) 
  • Does it empower the workers?

hydroponics is very interesting and it definitely has its place in an improved food system, but i can’t help feeling a bit turned off by the scale of this project and the mechanization of the process.
